Fiddle Leaf Figs (Lyrata) are from the ficus family, and thrive in the indoor sunlight, especially when placed by an east facing window. Be sure to rotate this beauty, as it will begin to lean or tip toward the light. 

Care:

Fiddle Leaf need to be watered less frequently than most houseplants, but saturated thoroughly when watered. They do not need to be overwatered or left soggy, and do well with a good drain. The tips of the leaves will start to turn brown if the plant is kept either too wet or too dry.
